Interesting perspective on making money
Here's an interesting Forbes article by Gary Shilling on the future of
the economy. He argues that the middle class are going to feel
the pinch in the future and that the opportunity to make money lies
with the rich.
I like his advice to be wary of producers of discretionary items for the middle class ... but he doesn't talk about the opportunities in the essentials (groceries, insurance, etc.) But, he does talk about looking at catering to the wealthy.
However, I'm always bothered by the axiom "sell to the masses, eat with the classes. Sell to the classes, eat with the masses."
