Amazon has released their newest Kindle.   I won't be buying one. 

At $359 I think it's too expensive.  Add to that the fact I can not buy 'used' books for it and it is definitely too expensive.

I also like to read on planes during take-off and landing.  Can't do that with a Kindle. 

I like the idea of carrying a small library around with me.  They have to reduce the cost of the device and enable a secondary market for content, then I'll get interested.  Perhaps a subscription model that works like a library.  Pay $x per month and have use of a certain number of books.  You 'check them out' and can only have a certain number available.

Sounds a bit like Netflix and Blockbuster, doesn't it?
