Amazon has released their newest Kindle. I won't be buying one.
At $359 I think it's too expensive. Add to that the fact I can not buy 'used' books for it and it is definitely too expensive.
I also like to read on planes during take-off and landing. Can't do that with a Kindle.
I like the idea of carrying a small library around with me. They have to reduce the cost of the device and enable a secondary market for content, then I'll get interested. Perhaps a subscription model that works like a library. Pay $x per month and have use of a certain number of books. You 'check them out' and can only have a certain number available.
Sounds a bit like Netflix and Blockbuster, doesn't it?
