Thought of the Day - Fond Farewell
Had some friends over last night for a farewell dinner to my dog Houston. We celebrated the night with a few decent bottles. The sparkler was one I brought back from Australia...50% Pinot Noir/50% Chardonnay. Excellent with a big body. The red was a Cab from Shafer that some wine geek friends were all excited about. Now I see why...chewy, lush, smooth...delicious.
Stories remembered. Laughs had...not too much sadness. Quite a nice send off.
